These images were taken on the property of the fabulous Chateau Bas winery in France. Chateau Bas produces some excellent white wines that my brothers and I tested over and over again this summer. This body of work is greatly different than the pieces I am typically commissioned to photograph. This is some of my personal work. My personal work still involves working with people. In fact, I truly don’t know how I would compose a photo without a human subject to work with. But, what I especially like about these images is the relationship between the subject and the environment. How does the person fit in with the environment? There were some ancient ruins in the back grounds of the winery that I used in my compositions as well. I just love the soft features of my model in conjunction with the old stone and rock.
