My friend and amazing photographer, Corinne Alavekios from Photographic Essays invited me to join her last week at WPPI in Las Vegas.  While we were out there, we spent a whole day in the desert at these dry lake beds in conjunction with Thirst Relief, an incredible organization helping bring clean water to those in need.  We photographed these gorgeous girls, one of which was Ms. Oklahoma and the other of whom was Ms. Nevada, and helped students with their lighting, posing and overall portraiture.  Here are a few of my images from the day.  The challenge for me was shooting in mid-day day.  Harsh shadows can certainly be a challenge, but I was up to the task and am very pleased with some the work turned out.  Hmmm…I never much thought about fashion photography until now…maybe it’s time I revisit it…
