Okay people…If you haven’t started thinking about your holiday cards by now, you are well behind the curve.  Now, I am not one who loves celebrating Christmas year round and in fact, still cannot understand how ‘Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe’ is able to stay in business January through November.  However, the family holiday card takes time.  There is the photographing, selecting of images, designing and printing of the cards that simply cannot be done overnight and look good.  And so when I have clients come in for their session in September and October to get their holiday cards done early, I could actually hug and kiss them. But, instead of physical gratitude, I do the next best thing, and thank these client’s with a $50 in-studio credit that they can put towards their cards, prints or anything else they want to purchase for themselves or for holiday gifts.  A reward for their early planning.

Photographed on Sunday were Finn and Aiden.  Two boys near and dear to my heart.  They were absolutely wonderful and when their mother saw signs of fading, nothing was a better pick-me-up than sheer bribery: new monster trucks, candy and a promise to go to the toy store.  I love the outfits their mother picked-out for them.  Such little men they are!  And, even though I know their mother is going to use one of the photos of them posing and smiling for the camera for her card this year, I can’t help but love the image of them wrestling on the floor at the end of the session.
