Fall cleaning started for me this past weekend when I went to our family’s storage unit and brought home a few boxes to open and sort through.  What I found carefully stored away was mostly piles and piles of old letters that I had received from friends and family throughout the years at sleep away camp, boarding school, and a year abroad in Africa.  However in one box, I stumbled upon this amazing treasure.  When I was about 10 years old, my father somehow secured me a spot in the press box next to his friend and well-known photographer, Bernie Boston.  Equipped with my Disc camera, I was  allowed to photograph Princess Diana and Prince Charles during their visit to The United States.  The first image of the series is mine and the final three were taken by Bernie Boston.  What I would treasure almost more than these images would be the photo of me, at 10 years old, in that box working my camera along side all the pros!

Your photos of Prince Charles and Princes Diana are awesome! What an opportunity of a lifetime!!! I was fortunate to tour England, Scotland, & Wales on May 28-June 7, 2008! I have over 1500+ photos. I had a 35mm camera at the time and took 63 rolls of film with me. I have not printed all of the photos. I went digital in February, 2010! Wow, I love my new camera…a Canon Rebel XS Digital Camera!!! Hope you will take time to look at my website and hope you enjoy your time there!!! Photography has been the love of my life for the past 30+ years!!!!
