Hands down, this image from The La Playa is one of my recent favorites. The story behind this photo is that Alison and Greg wanted to do some pictures before their ceremony in order for them to be able to enjoy their post-ceremony, cocktail hour with their guests. We set up a “first look” for them so that even though they were seeing each other beforehand, it still would be a special moment we could capture. This image of Greg waiting down this narrow hall just gives me goosebumps. He is actually turned around with his back to the camera, waiting for Alison to surprise him. When I look at this photo, I can feel the excitement that was in the air when the image was snapped. Alison actually started down the hall when I saw this image and I made her back-up for a brief second so I could capture the shot. Enjoy.
