My cousin was married in Costa Rica last month. I was a guest at this wedding, but I tell you it just wouldn’t feel right for me to go to a wedding and not bring my camera. I wouldn’t know what to do with myself! So here are a few candids from the ceremony, all shot from my seat:) After working over 500 weddings, there are a few tricks I know to getting great shots from any position at a wedding. I only brought one lens, my 70-200mm, so that I could get great tight shots of the bride and groom during the ceremony. I wanted to see their facial expressions knowing that the photographer they hired would be getting all the overall shots. They had a book our for all their guests to write little tips and secrets for a long and happy marriage. My 7-year old wrote “May your love be as strong as King Kong”. So true.
