Sunset shoots are technically challenging  because I have to meter for the bright backlight while also making sure my subjects are metered correctly.  I was pleased with how these photos turned out.  Having lived in Florida long enough, I now know that the most beautiful part of most sunsets is the afterglow that takes place 5-15 minutes after the sun goes down.  This shoot was the perfect example of that.  The sky turned vibrant pinks and oranges after the sun set.

The Montecalvo Family was so kind and easy to work with and I enjoyed watching the interaction of the sisters together.

Having two little girls myself, it only gave me a little more foreshadowing as to what’s in store for me down the road.
