Let me start by saying that this band is not for your average bride and groom. If you are looking to hear Sinatra covers, this band may not be the best fit for you. But as far as I’m concerned, any couple who hires the infamous, Right On Band, is just plain cool and knows that their guests are in for an incredible time. Throughout the night, the dance floor seemed more like a mosh pit and the reception felt more like a concert. This band truly rocked the house. This wedding at The La Playa Beach Resort was photographed primarily with film, however when it came time for the reception, the lighting was changing so fast that I switched partially to digital so I could keep up, not only with the quick changing lights, but more importantly, with the fast paced movement & dancing throughout the room. I worked hard to capture the energy of this reception and feel that it translates well into these photos. I don’t like to play favorites, but hands down this band rocked it and was well…right on.
