Becca & Mike’s wedding was photographed April 26th  in Connecticut.  I love traveling for work because it challenges my eyes on new ways to photograph especially since the light can be so different in different locations the same time of year.  It helps keep me, as an artist, more creative and fresh.

This wedding took place at the funkiest church I’ve ever seen located in Westport, CT.  The church had large glass floor-to-ceiling windows which made you feel as though you were in a tree house.  This bride has a special place in my heart as she was my daughter Abby’s first teacher out in Durango, Colorado.

I especially love the photos taken along the rock wall.  The back-lighting against Becca’s veil was outstanding.  I actually like these photos in both color and B&W, which is unusual as I tend to lean one way or the other. The reception from this wedding was a blast.  It was held at The Waterview in Monroe, CT.  Almost every single one of the 200+ guests were out on the dance floor making for some great candid work.
