Oh, the anticipation that goes along with senior year of high school.  The feelings of excitement and uncertainty combined.  Knowing that part of the journey coming to an end with the next leg of the journey just beginning.  I think back to my senior year of high school with great nostalgia.  It was in high school that I took my first photography class.  And to think that deep in the bowels of my high school basement, with hours and hours spent in the school’s darkroom; I started laying my own footprint of where life would take me.

I photographed this senior, Tatum, over the weekend.  We photographed at 5 different locations around Naples, giving her a very comprehensive portfolio of images to choose from.  What’s important for all my seniors is that they be presented with different “looks” that best represent them.  Using so many locations helps create and portray many different moods.  I happen to love the images of Tatum with the brick drive underneath.  If I had to guess, I think her favorites would be the photos that have a little more “urban” and “edgy” feel to them.
