There is something wonderfully personal about having your family portraits done right in the comfort of your own backyard…literally. This is exactly what the Dalbey family did. I came to their house and spent over an hour photographing them and their adorable son, Lars. The really fantastic thing about photographing younger children in and around their home is how comfortable they are with me. I am in their space and when I work in someone’s home, I am able to allow the child to show me around so-to-speak. There seems to be less pressure on my clients when I can come to them and I thoroughly enjoy having the chance to keep things fresh by photographing in a new setting.
