We took a very, very, and one more time for emphasis VERY bumpy boat ride down to Cape Romano last weekend to spend time with our neighbors, friends & clients from Cali to tackle a few holiday photo shoots.  This spot is so fun to me.  The vegetation is completely wild and the structures coming out of the water are just plain strange, which makes them even more fabulous to me.

Since my last shoot here, I have come to learn from a few clients that the waters around here are filled with shark.  Yup, loads and loads of shark.  What you don’t know will possibly kill you because the last shoot I did here I was up to my neck in the water shooting and was told by many that it’s simply not safe.

Sooooo… after learning this very helpful piece of information, we adjusted to how we photographed the kids in the water, and propped them up on a stool. The last photo shows you that my girls refused to even tip a toe in the water…  usually I need hands to help with my gear… in this case,  we needed help carrying the kids.
