It’s been almost a month since we’ve gotten back from our incredibly relaxing and refreshing long weekend in Jamaica. If you read this blog, you’ll know that Zak & I went back to where we got married to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. I “surprised” him with a vow renewal ceremony and as a note to all of you out there thinking of “surprising” your spouse with something…an actual wedding ceremony may in fact not be the best, “surprise”. I think Zak’s exact words when he realized what was happening were, “Seriously? You couldn’t have told me about this?” In any case, he was a good sport and the ceremony was wonderful, and ironically the man who witnessed our wedding 10 years ago was the same person officating our renewal this time, so everything sort of came full circle, and I love when that happens. Below are some fun images from our weekend away. No trip to Jamaica would be complete without some hair braids and a few rum punches, so all in all a completely successful trip!
