It can be so fun getting the chance to photograph friends and their family. There is a level of comfort and familiarity which makes capturing the true personalities just a little easier. It also can be more stressful for me as a professional. I of course want all my clients to be pleased, but when I photograph friends, I REALLY want them to be happy. This here is one of my favorite people, Kara, and her sweet family. We photographed on the beach and partly at this beautiful banyan I like to use. The night we photographed at the banyan we found three baby kittens living in and around the tree. It’s a miracle that I didn’t come home with three new pets (don’t worry, we called a Cat Rescue who came out the next day and collected the kittens who have already been adopted to loving homes!)
