Last night the staff of Heather Donlan Photography hosted a party to celebrate the opening of our new studio and gallery in Old Naples, FL. Personally, I love any excuse to throw (or go to) a party. After months of renovating our new space, it did not take much arm-twisting to host,(as my father described), one hell of a party. Posted are some photos of the space itself as well as some shots of the party goers. I was thrilled to see Kelly McWilliams from Weddings by Socialites; Lynn Alexander & Betsy Tucker, two of my favorite coordinators from The La Playa Resort, and of course, Ricardo Portalatin (Florist Extraordinaire) & Lynn Cabrera from Wild Pair Events!
The one thing we at the studio love more than a good time, is a good time that benefits a good cause. A cause that Heather Donlan Photography is proud to support is the new Children’s Museum of Naples, which is set to open in 2010. Last night, the studio sold raffle tickets and donated a portrait session and museum quality print to benefit the Naples Children’s Museum. Joe Cox, the executive director of the museum was on hand to represent the museum and hopefully he enjoyed himself while here. Although we only raised $330, our philosophy is that every little bit helps. And a shout out to LEELA KUTTEMPEROOR who won the drawing! Yeah for Leela…and she said she never won anything!
Lastly, big thanks, hugs and kisses, and my eternal gratitude to the staff here at Heather Donlan Photography for making everything (always) look so good. Zak, my adorable husband, who goes to the end of the earth for me on a daily basis and never gets enough praise. Mike Murphy, my go to guy for um, let’s see…everything. And, Christina Sampson, my right hand woman who is part employee/part family. Without these three, this studio would truly be just a boring old office with some random photos on the wall. These three fill this studio full of laughter and love and they make it so much fun to come to work at each and every day.
