I have fallen head over heels with working in The Everglades and am so excited about the images I am getting out there. There is something so incredibly peaceful about floating across the water and having nothing around you for miles. Growing up in NY, there was never an opportunity to feel calm and quietness like you can out there. The summertime gives us these magical afternoon storms, which make for incredible backdrops with some of this work I do. This particular image was captured in early summer, about 10 minutes before the storm rolled in.
